The symptoms of bipolar are divided into two groups; they are manic and depressive. People with bipolar disorder are going to suffer both groups of symptoms.

Mania

Mania is the high point of bipolar symptoms . Someone with mania will feel great. They’re glad and seem they’re on top of the world.

However, the main point of mania is that the person is not only pleased, but glad in the extreme. All symptoms of a person actually has in a manic episode is pushed to the extreme that is why it’s regarded as a mania, not just simply be happy.

Another problem with a manic episode is that due to the extreme high the person is on they may have a tendency to act impulsively without any control over their behavior. Many people during a manic episode feel like they are invincible.

Another problem that will occur in a manic episode will not look like happy behavior. The person will be extremely aggressive and provoking. They will look extremely impertinent or annoyed.

Symptoms of bipolar (manic episode) include:

• Extremely optimistic
• Irritable
• High energy
• No require to sleep
• Unrealistic thinking
• High self-esteem
• Quick talking
• Extremely active
• Incapable to focus
• Agitation
• Reckless behavior

Depression

The other type of episode experienced by someone with bipolar disorder is the depressive episode. Completely opposite of mania, depression causes a person to feel very low. A person will be overly sad and down.

They may start to feel like their life is worthless. A depressive episode can lead to suicidal thoughts and actions.

The depressive episode is frequently more dangerous than the manic episode. This episode is almost always treated with the medication due to this reality.

The standard medications, though, used to treat depression frequently don’t work for bipolar depression and in fact will make it worse. Someone suffering from bipolar depressive episode usually will move slowly and begin to act extremely different than a person that is simply suffering from depression.

Symptoms of depression bipolar include:

• Feeling guilty
• Very sorrow
• Moving and talking slowly
• Always sleeping
• Great changes in habits of eating
• Feeling empty
• Sluggishness

Depressive Phase
