Avoid feminine hygiene products: The utilisation of soaps and bubble baths can increase irritation and prolong the infection through changing the PH of the vaginal tissue. Avoid female cleanliness sprays. This is something you should practice all the time to lower your chances of developing a recurrent fungal infection!

Keep cool and dry: Increasing the agitative reaction creates more heat in the area. Warmth helps Candida and so your yeast infection prosper and inspires it to multiply explosively. Even worse, wet warmth will inspire re-growth and will undo any good that your treatment has done. So between treatments, ensure the area stays cool, dry and clean.

Avoid douching: In general you should not douche as it can irritate the vagina and in numerous cases basically induce a vaginal infection. The exceptions are the proposals made below as they help rebalance your PH and properly balance your bacteria levels. Otherwise douching in general must be steered clear of.
